September 2007 - February 2010o Directed two teams of Novartis Connect Project, which integrated all sourcing areas of the six business units of Novartis. The outcome of this project was a cost saving of 31,000,000 USD and the creation of one sourcing area for the six business units. o Managed warehousing and distribution, international freight, courier, custom broker, furniture and stationary, insurances and car fleet categories. (Annual expenditure of $25,000,000 USD). o Earned cost savings of 10% ($2,500,000 USD) due negotiating the 85% of products and services mentioned before. o Led Suppliers Certification Project, 513 suppliers were certified according to Novartis policy and requirements in one year

August 2006 - September 2007o Negotiated and managed food and beverages (F&B) category for 82 hotels (Annual expenditure of $19,000,000 USD). Reduced spent by $1,140,000 USD. o Organized five bids for 300 F&B products that represented the 77% of the total expenditure (around 60 different suppliers were evaluated by 15 chefs). o F&B suppliers' development and distribution project (B2B project). The project consisted in changing from a centralized ?warehouse distribution configuration to a direct delivery system. o Analyzed and evaluated for cost reduction and operational improvement strategies for Sales, Operation, Sourcing, HR, and Marketing areas.
